Hi, I’m Harsha

As a South-Asian immigrant and New Yorker that grew up in the 80s, I’ve lived through lots of changes and challenges, but I’ve learned how resilient humans can be. I've helped adults and children face life challenges like anxiety, depression, and numerous mental health challenges. I have a particular passion for working with people of all ages with trauma histories, grief, adults with parenting struggles, men with relationship issues, and issues relating to attachment or tough upbringing. Modalities Include: CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, ACT, Brainspotting, PCIT

I strongly believe that inside every person are the strengths and lived experiences that make us unique and equipped to handle challenges. Sometimes we just need a little direction to see it. While I mainly focus on trauma and attachment-focused therapies, I utilize an eclectic approach that caters to each client. Counseling isn't one-size-fits-all.

As a husband and father, I appreciate the need to foster a mutually loving and supportive environment, and I try to do the same as a clinician. Sometimes I nerd out with the whiteboard, but I try to keep things light and fun. However, effective therapy is collaborative so be prepared to put in the work. Thanks for looking and please be kind to each other!
